Horse-Bac® Elite

Power from Within

Advanced equine gut health support for horses at every stage of life.

Get Started

Horse-Bac® Elite is an advanced, all-natural, microbial-based supplement designed to work alongside the horse's own natural gut microbiota. By supporting a healthy microbial balance, Horse-Bac Elite helps horses maintain normal gut and immune function while supporting performance, recovery and hoof strength.

Developed through a collaboration between Tithebarn and TransAgra, two long-established businesses in the agri-health sector, Horse-Bac Elite brings together more than 150 years of combined experience and knowledge.

Why Does a Healthy Gut Matter?

The horse's gut plays an important role in overall health, wellbeing and performance. Maintaining a healthy microbial balance can help support natural gut function and nutrient utilisation.

Horse-Bac Elite works alongside the horse's natural gut bacteria to help maintain a healthy microbial balance and support the horse from the inside out.

A horse with a healthy gut can:

  1. Remain healthy

  2. Exhibit fewer stress indicators

  3. Require less medication

  4. Retain better feed intake

  5. Have more energy

  6. Support performance

  7. Maintain normal immune function

Not Just Another Probiotic

Horse-Bac® Elite takes a different approach to supporting equine gut health.

Unlike a traditional live probiotic, Horse-Bac Elite is not a live probiotic. Instead, it combines the actions of probiotics, prebiotics and postbiotics in a naturally supported and reliably stable formulation.

This approach is designed to support efficient nutrient utilisation and normal immune function, providing the benefits you would expect from a probiotic without the uncertainty associated with live bacteria.

A Total Body Supplement

Horse-Bac Elite is a total body supplement from start to finish, designed to support horses throughout their lives and at different stages of development.

It can be fed to:

Weanlings
15g (15ml) per head per day

Yearlings
22g (22ml) per head per day

Adults
30g (30ml) per head per day
