Minsups Blocks Dairy
Nutrient-dense blocks with balanced minerals to drive health and lactation performance
Easy Calve Block
High Nutrient Density Mineral Block for Pre-Calving Cows
Easy Calve Block is a specialist mineral block formulated to provide nutritional support to cows in the 6-8 weeks before calving. Its combination of plant extracts, magnesium, trace elements and vitamins is designed to support calving, cow health, fertility and healthy calf development.
The calcium-free, high-magnesium formulation provides targeted nutritional support during the important pre-calving period, while multiple trace element sources help promote consistent nutrient availability across different feeding conditions.
Key Benefits:
Supports easier calving - plant extracts are formulated to support the uterus and associated muscles, helping promote smoother contractions and reduce stress around calving.
Helps reduce injury and infection risk - supporting a smoother calving process can help reduce birth-related injuries, aid recovery and support post-calving health.
Supports a faster return to fertility - nutritional support around calving can help cows return to a fertile cycling state, supporting efficient breeding.
Helps reduce the risk of milk fever - the calcium-free formulation, combined with high magnesium, supports normal muscle function and helps reduce the risk of metabolic problems.
Supports calf development - iodine provides nutritional support for healthy calf development and vitality at birth.
Supports cow health and immunity - a balanced blend of trace elements and vitamins A, D3, E and B vitamins supports resilience, tissue repair and overall health.
Supports colostrum quality - key vitamins and trace elements provide nutritional support for the cow during the pre-calving period and colostrum production.
Consistent trace element availability - multiple sources of trace elements help provide reliable uptake across different feeding conditions.
Feeding Recommendations
Easy Calve Block should be made available to cows 6–8 weeks prior to calving.
Place the block where cows naturally congregate and, preferably, close to a water supply to encourage intake.
Target intake: 100 g per head per day
Actual intake will vary according to the availability of other feeds and mineral sources.
For best results, ensure cows have access to the block throughout the recommended pre-calving period as part of a balanced feeding programme.
Respithrive block
To prevent pneumonia in cattle
Contains innovative ingredient, Respiral, a blend of herbs, plant extracts and essential oils to reduce respiratory problems.
Respiral also helps to boost rumen function resulting in improved liveweight gains.
Key Benefits:
Calcium and phosphorus to promote healthy bone growth
Zinc to improve skin and foot condition
Trace elements to help balance deficiencies in forage
Selenium and Protected vitamins for overall health and Immune system
Magnesium content helps to reduce stress in stock
Directions for use:
Place block in area where stock congregate. Intake will vary according to availability of other feeds.
Target Intakes:
1 block per 30 cattle per week
MAG BLOCK
Magnesium Mineral Block for Cattle & Sheep
MAG BLOCK is a specialist high-magnesium mineral block formulated for cattle and sheep, providing targeted nutritional support during periods when the risk of grass staggers may be increased, particularly on autumn and spring grass.
Alongside a high level of magnesium, MAG BLOCK provides energy and protein from a cereal-based formulation, helping improve palatability while supplying essential minerals, trace elements and vitamins to support overall health and metabolism.
Key Benefits:
Helps reduce the risk of grass staggers - high magnesium levels provide targeted supplementation during periods of increased risk on autumn and spring grass.
Supports stress management - magnesium helps support normal nervous system function and can provide nutritional support during periods of stress, including dosing, dipping and severe weather.
Provides energy and protein - a cereal-based formulation provides an additional source of energy and protein alongside magnesium supplementation.
Improves magnesium palatability - the cereal base helps make magnesium supplementation more palatable to livestock.
Supports overall health and metabolism - phosphorus, calcium and a range of trace elements provide broad nutritional support.
Easy to feed - the block format helps reduce waste and eliminates the need for additional feeding containers.
Can complement phosphorus supplementation - may be used alongside PHOS BLOCK, allowing stock to balance their intake of phosphorus, calcium and magnesium according to their requirements.
Directions for use:
Outside:
Place MAG BLOCK on the ground in a well-drained area that is frequently visited by cattle or sheep.
Inside:
Place in a manger, feed rack or trough. Intake will vary according to individual animals, diet and environmental conditions.
To provide the equivalent of the recommended calcined magnesite intake for full protection:
Adult cattle: 225 g MAG BLOCK per head per day provides the equivalent of 56 g/day of calcined magnesite.
Sheep: 56 g MAG BLOCK per head per day provides the equivalent of 14 g/day of calcined magnesite.
Ensure livestock have suitable access to the block and fresh drinking water at all times.
